Sue's favorite idea: was an old Victorian tradition that says each person should get "something they want, something they need, something to wear, and something to read."
*
Diane shared these recipes with everyone:
dried cilantro 1 tsp. or 2 Tbls. fresh
2 lg. (7 oz.) and 2 sm. (1.55oz) Hershey's chocolate bars
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
gradually add:
1 C sugar
add:
2/3 C pumpkin
1 t lemon juice
sift and add:
3/4 C flour
1 t baking powder
2 t cinnamon
1/2 t nutmeg
1/2 t salt
Pour into greased jelly roll pan (approx 11x16) and sprinkle with 1 C chopped nuts
Bake 375 12-15 minutes. When done turn onto dishtowel sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Roll up and let cool.
Meanwhile mix till smooth:
1 C powdered sugar
8 oz cream cheese
4 T soft butter
1 t vanilla
Spread on cooled pumpkin roll. Roll back up and chill.
