Ward Relief Society Party

51 sisters attended

We honored 8 past Presidents of the union 3rd ward Relief Society.
`````
```````
We presented each with a lovely rose corsage made by Holly Sosa. She made a beautiful centerpiece to match for the head table. She also made us posters and invitations for the celebration. Thais Williams helped as well.

Trudy was in charge of the dinner, which included Baked potatoes, with all the toppings, a tossed salad and Birthday cake..Sara Carter made us Truffles that were delicious. Thanks to Keirsten for helping out on our committee as well.
````````
```````
Ingrid and Natalie were in charge of the decorations. We tried to gather crafts that sisters had made in past R.S. meetings. We used these for decorations as well. The sisters loved looking at the history books and scrapbooks of our ward. Past activities and pictures took us all down memory lane.

After dinner Sue gave a brief history of the Relief Society Organization. Then we started our program with Heidi as our MC.

At the head table sat the honorees. Beth Butterfield, Gloria Wright, Lou Ann Bates, Dixie Taylor, Delene McMillan, Fern Hill, Tracy Brown, and Vicki Bolyard.. We asked them funny and thought provoking questions about their time serving as President.

We then had a lovely medley of songs sung by: Missy, Chrissy, Trudy, Julianna, Michelle, Lou Ann, Melinda,
Christy, Trisha, and Kandis at the piano.
Thanks to Michelle Abbott for organizing the music.

Thanks to Heidi and Judy for spearheading and organizing our Birthday Party. It was a fun and successful evening. There was a feeling of sisterhood and love.
