Food Bank - Service Project 2010

Our plan was to go to the food bank and sort food, pack boxes, and perhaps do some lifting. The day of our project, the food bank called and said they didn't need us. (they had too many groups) so they asked if we would decorate the boxes the food goes into. They said people who receive the boxes of food, especially the elderly love to see cheerful, holiday drawings on the boxes.

So.... we actually got the same amount of blessings doing coloring...It brought the inner child out in each of us. We felt like we were in kindergarten again.

There were some, who of course were very artistic, and could draw amazing things..

After we decorated boxes we had pie..What kind you ask? Banana cream, lemon cream, and chocolate satin...yum!
