At the end of our night together we passed out a letter to all the sisters in attendance.
=====================
Dear Sister,
Thank you for coming to spend a little time with us! We want you to know how much we love our calling and how much we really enjoy spending time with each sister. We feel impressed to let each of the women in our ward know that we love you and like you just as you are, right now. Our Heavenly Father's vision of you is so different from how you see yourself. He sees you as your potential. How lovely we all must look to him!
As we go in and out of our daily lives we often find ourselves being overly concerned with how we look or how other people view us. We even let our self doubts prevent us from acting on promptings, or offering kindness or help to others. We as a presidency encourage you to cast off the world, and change the focus of your everyday. Tell yourself "It's not about me."Then spend time each day-in an elevator, in a car, at work, at school, or in your neighborhood, thinking about how you might lift the spirits of those around you.
We always want you as you are. We don't think about how you look, or how other people view you, we want you and need you with us regardless of those things. We notice when sisters are missing, your individual spirits make our ward family whole. Our Father in Heaven has blessed us all with this beautiful organization so we can bless each other-sometimes that is simply done by sharing your friendship with all of us. We love you for who you are, right now, as you are..a Daughter of God.
Love,Sue, Heidi, Michelle, and Joan
